Co-Cure Digest Versions

Regular digests provide a convenient way to receive all the Co-Cure list posts in one e-mail message, sent usually once per day. There are three digest versions of the Co-Cure list mail available:

Plain text is best for AOL users and all others who either require or simply want a plain text digest version.

To receive the plain text version, copy and paste this command onto the first line of an e-mail message (there is no need for anything in the subject line):

SET CO-CURE DIGESTS

and mail to listserv@listserv.nodak.edu

[Return to index]

The HTML version is a nice alternative for those who use Microsoft Outlook Express v. 5.x and other mailers that can fully utilize HTML format, including many Web-based mail clients such as Yahoo! e-mail. It provides an index of posts sent and the user can simply click on those posts that are interesting.

To receive the HTML version, copy and paste this command onto the first line of an e-mail message (there is no need for anything in the subject line):

SET CO-CURE DIGESTS,HTML

and mail to listserv@listserv.nodak.edu

[Return to index]

The Mime version is useful for those who use the Pegasus mailer.

To receive the Mime version, copy and paste this command onto the first line of an e-mail message (there is no need for anything in the subject line):

SET CO-CURE DIGESTS,MIME

and mail to listserv@listserv.nodak.edu

[Return to index]

Should you encounter any problems in setting your subscription options, please write to the Co-Cure Moderators.

Going from digests to individual e-mail

If at any time you wish to stop receiving digests and return to receiving individual e-mail messages, copy and paste this command onto the first line of an e-mail message (there is no need for anything in the subject line):

SET CO-CURE NODIGESTS

and mail to listserv@listserv.nodak.edu

[Return to index]

Special Weekly Digest of Co-Cure Medical and Research Posts

For those who wish to receive Co-Cure medical and research posts only in a digest format, we now have a special weekly digest that contains only medical and research posts (that is, it does not contain any of the messages posted under the ACT or NOTICE topic keywords.)

This digest is also available in plain text, HTML and MIME versions, as discussed above.

Because getting this digest requires a bit of special handling, please write to the Co-Cure Moderators to request this digest. Simply send a message that says "special digest." If you want the HTML or MIME option, please also tell us that. [Unless you tell us otherwise, we will assume that by requesting the special weekly digest, you want this to replace your regular Co-Cure subscription.]

Please note that although this digest is called a weekly digest (and is actually programmed to come out weekly), message volume will cause it to come out twice a week on most weeks.

If you should ever wish to discontinue the weekly digest of medical and research posts and return to some other format of the Co-Cure list mail, please write to the Co-Cure Moderators and tell us what you want to receive by way of Co-Cure list mail.
