Directions for Selecting Co-Cure List Topics
The Co-Cure e-mail list runs on LISTSERV® software, which gives list members the ability to select the topics they wish to receive. Upon subscription, list members are set to receive all four of the Co-Cure topics: ACT, MED, NAME, NOTICE and RES. But members are free to choose which topics they receive.
This is a brief description of the Co-Cure topics:
ACT: This topic/category is generally intended for notices concerning socio-political activism.
MED: Medical/clinical issues not directly related to recent or pending research, i.e. treatment and diagnosis information for CFS, FM or related conditions. The information should not be considered as medical advice.
NAME: This is a temporary topic/category that is to be used for all posts dealing with the issue of changing the name chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). While it is designed as a temporary topic keyword, we realize that it may be around for a few years.
NOTICE: This topic/category is generally intented for announcements of events, publications, media coverage, conferences, and meetings. This topic is not limited to medical or research information.
RES: Scientific reports, trials, findings, opinions and publications.
NOTE: If you would prefer to have the Co-Cure Moderators set your topic options for you, please e-mail us at co-cure-mod@listserv.nodak.edu and simply tell us what topics you want to receive. We'll handle it from there.
